Bharath Krishna Sankar
Dr. Bharath Krishna Sankar, Chairman of Aparajitha Corporate Services Ltd, is a postgraduate in Commerce, a national gold medalist (topper in both Inter and Final) in Chartered Accountancy and an Associate of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India. His doctoral thesis is on “Determinants of entrepreneurship and its impact on MSME sector sustainability in Madurai district”.
Bharath is an exceptional coach and mentor, with passion for developing and nourishing the entrepreneurial spirit in youngsters. Bharath’s areas of specialization include human resource development, financial management and facilitation of change management through organizational development interventions. He penned a column ‘Smilingly yours’ in The Hindu –Metroplus, which was a series of management insights for young entrepreneurs and established businessmen alike.
He was the recipient of TiE Chennai’s “Entrepreneur of the year” award for 2015. He is the Past Chairman of the Madurai Zone of CII and the Vice Chairman of MaaMadurai Potruvom Committee.
Bharath believes that an individual can blossom with the right kind of inputs, especially when it is imparted through experiential learning. Passionate about Life Skills education and giving back to the society he started ‘Thalir thiran thittam’ (TTT) with a vision of creating transformational change through awareness at the school level by giving school students an exposure to skills which are extremely important in life, but not covered by the regular curriculum. The Tamil Nadu Government has issued an order for this project to be taken to 4239 schools across the state. The Gujarat government has entered into an MoU to reach it to 6231 schools and the Gujarati version has been implemented in over 2000 schools. The Hindi version of the programme is currently spreading to Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana covering more than 2000 schools. TTT is implemented through Aparajitha Foundations, a trust promoted by the group (www.aparajitha.org.in).
Dinesh Ramachandran is the Joint Managing Director of T V Sundram Iyengar & Sons Limited and Managing Director of TVS Logistics Services Limited. He is also the Director for various joint ventures / subsidiaries of these companies. A commerce graduate and an Associate member of both Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, Dinesh has had a wide experience within the Group and as is the tradition in the family, worked his way up in the organization ladder.
Currently, the companies under his management have a turnover of USD 1.40 billion (INR 6,100 crores) and employs around 10,000 people. Dinesh has been instrumental for the companies expanding their operations globally and he has set up subsidiaries in Sri Lanka, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Thailand, Bangladesh and United States of America.

Dinesh has been elected as Chairman of CII Tamil Nadu State Council for the year 2012-13. He is the Convenor of Infrastructure Panel, CII Tamil Nadu and is a member of the CII Southern Regional Council. He was awarded as an ‘Emerging Entrepreneur’ by CII during April 2010.
Dinesh is also a member of Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations of India (FADA) and other management / automobile institutions.
Kazi Arif Uz Zaman
Kazi Arif Uz Zaman is a Managing Director in the private equity team of Everstone Capital Advisors and leads coverage of South India for Everstone based out of Bangalore. Everstone is a premier India focused alternative asset manager with assets under management in excess of US$1.8 billion dedicated to private equity and real estate.
Kazi has 18 years of experience in private equity, M&A and investment banking. Prior to joining Everstone in 2007, Kazi previously worked with ICICI Venture and ANZ Grindlays / ANZ Investment Bank in Mumbai, London and Singapore. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad and is a CFA charter holder from CFA Institute, U.S.A.
Nagaraj Krishnan is the Managing Director of Aparajitha Corporate Services Private Limited. He graduated in Mathematics from the American College, Madurai in 1993 and went on to pursue Masters in Social Work (specializing Human Resource) from the Madurai Institute of Social Sciences and then completed his Masters in Business Administration (specializing Human Resource and Marketing) from Thiagarajar School of Management..
Nagaraj has been instrumental in conceptualizing Aparajitha’s business and leading it through. His expertise in labour laws along with a blend of logical process oriented approach and people focused leadership has positioned Aparajitha as the market Leader in HR Compliance KPO Services in India.
He was part of the CII - YI’s Indian delegation at the G20 Young Entrepreneurship Summit held at Niece – France (2011) and Mexico City – Mexico (2012). He was the Founder Chairman of Yi – CII, Madurai chapter. He is active in different forums in CII at the regional and national level, in various capacities..

Venky has over 16 years of experience in consulting, financial services, operations and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining Everstone, Venky worked with Future Capital Holdings as COO, at McKinsey as an Associate Partner in the financial services practice serving clients across India, China and South East Asia, and at Procter and Gamble in Category Marketing, Business Development and Demand Planning. Venky has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM-Ahmedabad and a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from Mumbai University.
Venkatraman Anantha Nageswaran
Anantha-Nageswaran graduated with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) from the internationally reputed Indian Institute of Management (IIM) at Ahmedabad in 1985. He obtained a doctoral degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts in 1994 for his work on the empirical behaviour of exchange rates.
Between 1994 and 2004, he worked for Union Bank of Switzerland (now UBS) and Credit Suisse in Switzerland as a Currency Economist and as the Regional Head for Investment Advisory for private clients of Credit Suisse in Singapore. In July 2006, he joined Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. in Singapore as the Head of Research for Asia. In March 2009, he was appointed as the Chief Investment Officer for the bank. Since July 2011, he has been an independent consultant.
He co-founded Takshashila Institution – a networked public policy think-tank and education institution in 2009. He is the Fellow for Global Economics at the Takshashila Institution. He is a Visiting Fellow at the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF India), located in New Delhi. He co-founded the Aavishkaar India Micro Venture Capital Fund in 2002. Today, Aavishkaar is a reputed Investment Fund for social enterprises investment in emerging economies. He was an angel investor in several socially relevant enterprises.
He teaches International Economics and Financial markets to graduate students at the Singapore Management University, at IIM, Bangalore and at the Great Lakes Institute of Management in Chennai..
As an empanelled speaker for the CFA Institute since 2002 until 2012, he has lectured in North America, Africa, Middle East and Asia.
His weekly column on international economics and financial markets has been appearing on Tuesdays for the last seven and half years in MINT, India’s reputed financial daily. The Institute of Certified Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) published an edited collection of his articles that appeared in ‘Business Line’ between 1999 and 2004. In the last two decades, he has written extensively for other financial dailies in India (Economic Times, Financial Express and Business Line) and publications such as ‘The Edge’ and ‘Asia Inc.’ in Asia and ‘Central European’ (a ‘Euromoney’ publication). His co-authored essay on ‘Capital Market Reforms in India and ASEAN: Avenues for co-operation’ was published in ‘India-ASEAN Economic Relations: Meeting the challenges of globalisation’ by the Indian Institute of Southeast Asian Studies. He authored an essay on the Chinese economy for ‘India-US Partnership: Asian Challenges and Beyond’ published jointly by VIF India and the Heritage Foundation (USA). He has authored Policy Studies on the feasibility of a free trade agreement between India and China, on the financial systems of India and China and a policy brief on the recommendations of the Financial Sector Legislative Reforms Commission (India) for the Takshashila Institution.
